The Underwater Traveler Branding Campaign

Overview
The purpose of this project was to develop a brand for an ocean excursion business called The Underwater Traveler (TUT). This business would take passengers on diving, snorkeling, and boating trips to observe large marine life like whales, rays, and sea turtles.
The project involved creating a logo, a stationery set, advertisements, and more.
Logo



The aspect of the business that sets it apart from other excursion companies is the focus on larger marine life. Because of this, I used a whale shape in the logo. The whale is paired with a compass since it corresponds to travel.
As an excursion business, customers should feel that The Underwater Traveler is a dependable company that will keep them safe when out on the water. Not only does blue correspond to water, but it also tends to provide a feeling of trust.
Stationery Set
The stationery set consists of a business card, an envelope, and a letterhead.

Print Advertisements
The branding campaign included designs for a magazine ad, a newspaper ad, and a ValPak coupon. The challenge was to create a unifying design that adhered to the color and sizing their respective medium.



Web Ads
In addition to printed advertisements, three sizes of web advertisements were designed. The web ads borrowed elements from the print ads while still being distinct. Below are a vertical, square, and banner ad.



Special Fold Invitation
This is a mailable VIP invitation for valued customers. The goal was to design a custom folded invitation that would attract the attention of customers.
